Exam Study Tips

It's pre-summer season for college students: AKA finals. In hopes that we can all have a great end to the year, here are some study tips for everyone dreading their final tests.

1. Sleep. All of the studying you've stayed up doing for hours and hours won't be put to good use if you can't function to take the test.

2. Eat. Even if you don't have time to prepare full meals, make time to stop and snack every so often.

3. Have your morning cup. Studies show that if you have a cup of coffee in the morning, it does help you wake up. However, the cups and cups after this first one have little effect.

4. Plan it out. Don't wait until the last minute. Study for a couple hours each day. Plan out your studying according to tests. I calculated what I have to make on each test to get the grade I want. If you can keep your A by only scoring a 30% on the exam, you can save yourself a lot of time and put that energy toward an exam that could use the help!

GOOD LUCK ON FINALS!

Get Summer-Ready

Right now, I'm on a no-excuses health and fitness kick. We all have those days when we don't want to work out or are just too lazy to make the trip up to the gym. Today is one of those days for me. This is Amanda Russell's no-excuse workout for the no-so-motivated days. It just takes six minutes but still leaves you feeling accomplished. Let's get ready for summer, six minutes at a time!
